    Hi all,
Was just wondering if anyone knows the legalities (if any) if someone views a room in a house share and agrees to take it from a certain date (doesn't pay a deposit) but then changes their mind. Can they be held liable for any of the rent (or rent lost in the time it takes to find a new tenant?)
    Thanks

nothing could possibly be enforced here.

Without a deposit or a signed contract, there is nothing enforceable there, sorry.

    No.

Lesson to self: get deposit paid asap.
