career after Ordinary Degree in Computer Sc.

    Hi ALL
    I just finished my 2nd year of Ordinary Degree in Computer Sc. Exams went well So I ll be fine.

    I am confused regarding Ordinary/Honors degree.
    I can change to Honors, if I wish to before my third year starts in Sep.

    If I stayed with Ord deg path I ll be graduating next year.
    Wondering people with ordinary degree are employable, as some claims ord degrees are just waste, better to get Honors, as many companies only hire graduates with Honors deg in Comp Sc??

    What should I do now so I ll be employable when I finish my degree in May 2012?

    Should I get some certificates of java/sql/zend going along?
    I understand companies looking for some experience but where I can that some experience?
    Any suggestions or advice for fresh graduate to get first job in IT please?

    I am free till Sep any place to go & get some experience, may be unpaid or paid?
