Clubbing

Myself and my friends are planning on taking a trip to Dublin for a couple of days after the LC, for a bit of shopping and to get away from home and whatever.

We're all from Cork, so none of us have any real clue about the nightlife. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good clubs? Places that aren't outlandishly expensive on the door, but where there's generally a decent crowd.

For the mods: we are all over the legal age.

EDIT: Rough locations would be appreciated. Also, since we're all 18/19, somewhere with a young crowd would be good! :P

At 18 or 19 theyd have trouble getting into coppers or anywhere around harcourt st, camden st area most places are over 21,s.

The likes of Qbar or 21,s is were most people in there late teens go.

Your best bet is to head to Harcourt Street which has Dicey's, D2 and The Pod, or else Dandelion on Stephen's Green, or Temple Bar.

At 18, 19 they wont get into D2, Diceys or Dandelions there all over 21,s, not sure about the pod.

Only way theyd get into one of those places if they happen to be going during the week and its a student night.

Options are limited then, most decent places are like 19's or 20's at the weekend. Tramco in Rathmines on the Friday or The Academy on the Saturday would be my suggestion.
