Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

On a separate note I did this (well my wife did) to my external hard drive and I returned it to Western Digital and they replaced it for me foc (except for shipping back the old device).

I dont think another housing will make your existing hard drive work. I would have thought that everything was connected to the one drive so when you blew it you blew the drive board no?

    just get a sata caddy,try and get a plastic one,maplins 15 euro,
see here,http://www-947.ibm.com/support/entry/portal/sata2.jpg ,metal cases can short out the drive if they touch the pcb underneath.
    see http://www.hothardware.com/articleimages/Item1019/wdfMobile_SATA_BEVSd.jpg
is your drive like this picture.above,
chances are your drive is ok.
