Repair Question - Replacing a Chainring (triple)

Question for anyone with a bit more maintenance experience than me:

I've a triple on my old commuting bike, and the middle ring is completely worn. Barely any teeth left on it at all! So - I want to replace the middle ring, cheaply if possible, so I'll be doing it myself.

It is apparently a "Prowheel Alu Solid Race Triple". Picture attached.

I haven't been able to find a replacement, and I'm not sure on compatibility either - can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement? Would one of the stock Sora tripple rings be a suitable replacement? Do I need to get new bolts as well?

I'll also be replacing the chain and the cassette (which is missing a tooth, so probably urgently needs changing!)

Thanks in advance for any input.

It's probably a standard road 130 PCD chainring set.

Remove the chainring, count the number of teeth and measure the distance between the bolts, as shown here:
    http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/chainrings.html

If it's at or close to 76.4mm, then you can use any shimano-compatible 130 PCD chainring.

If in doubt, bring the chainring to your LBS and you can verify that it's right before you buy.

Finally getting around to ordering a new chainring... still slightly confused:

Would there be any obious issues with either of these:

1)noted as for 9 speed (mines 8 speed triple currently): http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=18513

    or this,
    2) which is a Sora triple with 39T rather than the 42T I currently have:
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=38171

my preferance is the Sora triple for cost reasons.

    Thanks again for the help.

8/9 speed isn't really relevant. Obviously 39 teeth will be a little easier than 42, but you shouldn't really notice a huge difference overall.

Either will work with your chainset.

That makes sense, have ordered it now.

Thanks again for the helpful advice :)
