    Hi there

    Sorry if this is in the wrong category, I'm pretty new to boards and really couldn't find anywhere more appropriate to put it - however, if a friendly moderator thinks better, I'd be greatful for a steer.

    I'm moving me and the contents of my flat from London over to Dublin in September. I've tried to do some web research about the best options for carriage / haulage and can't find anything to fit the bill.

    We're leaving all the big furniture behind so it's really just a big telly and a bunch of 85 litre storage containers. It would fit into a standard white van nd we don't need any specialist movers, which seem quite expensive.

    Has anybody else done this or has any suggestions for the most cost effective options?
