Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

RTE Video Problems

Wondering if anyone can help with this.

Whenever I try and watch videos on RTE's website (usually just the news videos, rather than the full programmes) the video jumps back every few seconds and is generally really jumpy and impossible to watch. I'm using Windows 7 32bit, Firefox 4 (same problem in IE and Chrome, too), and I can't seem to work it out.

    Any ideas?

What speed is your Internet connection? Also try installing the latest version of Adobe Flash player:

Thanks for the reply. I've updated Flash and the problem is still there. Internet connection speed is 8mb so I don't think that's the issue.

Does it happen on the likes of Youtube etc... or is it just RTE player?

YouTube is definitely fine, I haven't noticed it on other websites as far as I can remember. Any ones in particular I should check?
