    Deadly. The players who went to the world cup with Engl;and all suffered with form and injuries, with the possible exception of Daws. I hope they all get the summer off.
    Gomes and VDV ran out of steam, and it could also be due to the unbroken 24 month season they endured. Look how much Sandro benefited from essentially the first half of the season off to rest and acclimatise.
