Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Convering 16:9 video to 4:3 aspect - Win XP

My father in law has some old family footage on a DVD that someone archived for him years ago.

Problem is, it was put into 16:9 format, when the original 8mm film is closer to 4:3, so the footage is stretched and everyone looks short and fat :-).

Is there any free (or very cheap) conversion software available on Windows XP to change the aspect ratio.

I don't want it to crop it to 4:3, but rather squeeze it from 16:9 to 4:3.

    Thanks,
    Stephen
