Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem with Sony Vaio connecting to Wifi

    Hi!

I wonder if anyone can help me, I've been having a problem with my computer and connecting to the internet for the last few months now. I'm not very computer savvy so I don't even know where to start with fixing it. I don't know if it's a problem with the model of computer I have, the version of Windows installed on it or the internet connection.

So I'll just put up as much info as I know on here and hope someone maybe knows what's going on! :D

The make of computer is Sony Vaio VPCEB1E0E. It's got Windows 7 installed on it. Basically every time I connect to a new network it asks me to create a Profile for that network but then it tells me things like failed to switch to selected profile. It used to only affect certain networks like my university's wifi or public networks now it's started happening with my home network as well!

I've attached some screen grabs of the problem in action.

Any advice would be much appreciated - I don't know whether to go back to Sony with the problem or get better antivirus or where to start!!!
