Philips Tv's and digital tuning...help

    I seem to remember a long thread in relation to digital tuning on Philips TV's. The core issue was selecting the 'UK' as country in preferences. Now when I do this the philips 40pfl9705 picks up all the Irish channels and identify's then on screen. However if I choose Ireland in the country preferences it does not seem to pick up all the data associated with the channel. So you can't actually see which channel is where. Now I did buy the TV at the Philips shop ..hence posting here ..plus its alot faster (usually) then Philips would be !

    You don't need any help I'm afraid, as that's the way it is with Philips.
    They've been informed about it and are apparently going to fix it, but I'm not holding my breath.

    You'll have to leave it on UK if you want all the info.

    Soarer is correct - just leave it on UK for the time being and you'll get the
    DTV Channels
    Dig Radio Stations
    EPG
    MHEG Dig text
    And the channels will populate the listing grid with correct info.

    WHY there is a hold up on this happening when you select Ireland I really dont know:(

    So for the time and we, and i'm sure every other Philips TV retailler (I hope!!) are advising you to set the TV location to UK and tune from there.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
