Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I am just wondering has anyone ever exported their motorcycle to Australia. I have an Enduro Bike, Non registered and want to ship it. Cost of Export is not entirely a problem because replacing it out there would cost €6k, joke or what. But anyway I appreciate your help, any companies you can recommend or know anyone who did it I would appreciate your help.

In my experience of looking through these threads, it may not worth exporting a bike to Australia.

Cost of shipping a bike starts at around €1.5k and goes up to € 3k, or more.

So, it would depend on how much you could get for you bike here, and the cost of a second hand one there.

    What bike is it?

my brother just brought his from aus back to ireland, ill find out the name of the company but im not sure if they would collect in ireland.

they shipped his bike into the UK and then essentially smuggled it from there to ireland because they never brought it through customs so i dont think they have a base of operations here.

also a side note get the highest level of insurance possible on the bike because they did a great job of packing my brothers bike but still managed to snap the rear sub-frame and wreck his wheel bearings.
