Can anybody tell me how i go about getting Respite for my father for two weeks while his wife takes a Two Week break please

I don't know and details on this but I think you need to get on to the HSE asap to get it in time for summer.

Your question, and no answers, is playing on my mind so I did a bit of googling.

Your mum should be entitled to a Respite Care Grant if you do not have it already, but get moving on that *FAST* - you may not get it for this year even so:

This can be used for home or respite care as far as I can tell.

But I know nothing, one way or the other about the quality of their services.
