    Just pointing out the bits I don't like.

    Horizontal Resolution
    420TV Line - Too Low 580 is the minimum I would use.

    Record frame rate: 25fps - Way too low ,for 8 cameras I would look for 100-200 fps

    500GB of storage - Also too low, for 8 cameras 1TB minimum.
    However, I note it does Support upgrades up to a 2.0 Terabyte storage via a SATA hard drive.

    For a basic system its better than a lot thats out there, but you could get a better frame rate & better cameras for a little more.
