Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows vista HP Service Pack 2,
All Desktop Icons have been wiped and desktop background changed to Black..
Ran an anti virus (BullGuard) to check and nothing showed up...

Anyone have an Ideas how this could have changed and No one else has access to the Laptop

Right-click anywhere on the Desktop and click View . Is 'Show Desktop Items' checked ?

Yes, Show desktop icons are selected to show... (Also Have copied Firefox back on to desktop and it shows, background Picture was also deleted)

I Have Noticed That the Photos in Windows Photo Gallery are no longer available to view (Folders and subfolders still exist but no photos are contained ) I don't believe they are Deleted as the Hard drive is still used to a size similar to before all this...So why can't I access them?

Are you sure you are using the same user account?
Different user accounts have different desktops (icons and backgrounds) and different My Docs folders.

Sounds like you have logged into a temp user profile.
