Sports facilities in IT Carlow/Sports and Excercise(GAA)

Hi, I am thinking about going to the IT in Carlow next year. I am just wondering what are the sports facilities like? Is there anyone doing Sports and Exercise(GAA) or Sports Science? Any recommendations for accommodation? Cheers.

Sports facilities are top notch. GAA and Rugby pitches, each with there own stands. 3 5-a-side astro turfs, 1 7-a-side and 1 full pitch. A decent gym that is being upgraded for September. The Barrow Centre is a basketball/indoor football area. Theres also a clinic for injury treatment run by the Sports Rehab students. The Sports Science course is very good if you're into anatomy and physiology and sports obviously.
