wd blue caviar... problem ?

Hi folks, bought Western Digital" blue caviar" hard drive 1 TB, (model number WD10EALX) , for external data storage. I have docking station.... connect to my desctop (win7 64bits), switch on.... it show, that upgrading drivers, drive ready to use, i open " my computer" and there is no extra harddrive.
(my desktop already have two hd 1 tb each, but they are hitachi make)

then i connect straight to my desctop motherboard (asus, rampage II gene), ... show upgrading drivers, and nothing new appears in to "my computer".

ok, then i connect via docking station to my laptop (win xp pr sp3), same... show that he installing new driver, and after that i cant see it in to "my computer", nor access any way.

Help please sort that.

Have you tried formatting the drive from Disk management?

That work out fine. Never done it before on new disks, I was confused.
