Just wondering can you buy cabbage soup pre made in say like tins/packets in various supermarkets or have you to make it up yourself?
    thanks,

I would be fairly sure you could get it in the polish section in a supermarket.

Might be worth trying in a Polish shop, they're quite keen on cabbage soup IIRC.

And Borscht, great way to use red cabbage - did an Irish version once using blackpudding, beetroot and rondo cabbage.

The polish for cabbage I believe is Kapusta, and Kapusta Kizona is their jarred, fermented cabbage (like zuurkool or saurkraut) so dont get those confused
