Hello, Would someone please take a look at these line stats & tell me what speed my line would be capable of. I'm currently with vf on a 3mb package & get 2.63mb according to speedtest.net. D/Stream U/Stream Max Speed (kbps) 3072 386 Sn Margin (dB) 16 27 Line Atten.(dB) 48.5 28 Crc errors 0 1 Thanks.

You'll never get 3Mbps on a 3Mbps DSL line, it just doesn't work like that. Speed tests are never all that accurate either, and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Use it as a guide line, and not an absolute.

If you get 90% of what your line speed is, there's nothing wrong.

To answer the question, the line would manage 4mbps definitely and perhaps 5 mbps but that would be a little tight for comfort. The line appears to be 4 km long.
