    Hi,

Not looking to go anywhere in particular but if anyone could suggest a good exercise cycling route starting from castleknock/phoenix park? Looking to do about 20-30 miles but want to keep away from traffic if possible.

    cheers

I used to do this a lot.

You will always get some traffic when cycling close to D15 (one of the most densly populated areas in the country).

This is reasonably quiet and a pretty nice route. Its also pretty sheltered from the wind for some of the journey.

Looking on Google maps, a lap of the park is 9k approx.

Cycle on the N3 out to Dunshauglin :P. The hard shoulder is very wide so you're not mixing with traffic and most of the traffic is on the M3 anyways.

Yep but its infuriating to cycle in, given the joggers, people with prams, folks walking dogs, sh1te roads.
