Why are Irish people so hell bent on trying to prove they are "worthy" of...acting... singing.....writing.

No one is questioning Irish ability but it seems all Irish people feel a need to speak up for it...why?

This is the Fucker Gabriel Byrne who was going on about how Santa wasn't real at about 9pm when he was on the week before the toy show a couple of years back. Ryan had to stop him and turn it round in a rare admirable move.

    But he isn't real.

Someone give out the awards for the current series.

Best moment - Keith Barry when in a so called trance getting an unexpected slap by a planted actor from the audience.

I've had a word with Gabriel's people and he can fit you in for a counselling session after the show.

Nothing wrong with ambition, I suppose. We do have a lot to be proud of, despite decades of misgovernance and nepotism.

But, enough about RTE and FF.

Quite like some Bell X1 tunes; this is a 'nice' performance and all but not one of their better tunes.

I don't think it's a case of proving we're worthy, i think it's a case of we are worthy, so do more.

Hope i grasped the gist of what you were saying...

I'm switching over now, but I have to say that was as good a LLS as I've ever seen, nice to see a bit of positivity and hope, clearly some of the professional whingers here aren't happy at all with the positivity that the LLS was trying to project.
Enda did great, Neil D was dull until he started singing, Gabriel Byrne was great, Il Divo the missus enjoyed, Bell x1 were very good, Im quitting while I'm ahead and sticking on a movie!

So what do we think people.. I'm bored tbh... especially with all the supposed "big" names.. only interesting bits were Byrne's impression of JEdward..
