Take away kebab sauce?

    So....take away Kebabs. They always have a very tasty chilli/garlic sauce with them and I was hoping to make something like this at home. I've tried a few times but never quite got there...

    Anyone have any suggestions for this?


    BTW - I'm talking about the cheap and nasty kebab joints - you know the ones. None of your fancy stuff :D

    My father owned a place that made kebabs for about 8 years, the chilli sauce that we made was red sauce mayonnaise and chilli powder mixed, your taste for too much or too little ketchup is up to yourself as with the chilli powder,also just a plain garlic sauce made from mayonnaise milk to loosen the sauce and garlic granules,again make the strength to your liking.
    A coleslaw we served with this was white cabbage and carrots grated mixed with mayonnaise and a small amount of salad cream and season. Hope this helps
