Self defence Mayo/Galway?

Hi guys,

I'm interested in having a go at self defence, maybe judo or similar. I wouldn't be too keen on all the robes/bare feet stuff and I'd like to train in the type of clothes I'll actually be wearing should I ever need to defend myself.

I'd also be keen on one-one private tuitition if anyone does that?

Mayo/Galway area.

White Tiger Martial arts in castlebar do kickboxing and Karate.You don't need any "Robes" or such for kickboxing.I don't think there are any Judo clubs in Mayo. there's a Krav Maga club in castlebar if you haven't been put off by all the threads about Krav Maga!I don't know much about it though other than they train in the white Tigers Gym.

where are you living? id recommend the seama academy in galway. whats your background, in have you done any training before?
