Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably been covered before but I've just got a heads up of some land coming up for sale attached to my site, ie 10 acres, with a small bit of road frontage. Any idea what this would be worth. I'm not a farmer so I would only be interested as I think it would add value to my own site in years to come. Its in grass at moment. Is there much return from renting land, growing willow, forestry etc, I'.m open to suggestions. (westmeath area)

If you consider planting forestry you could get somewhere between €149 and €195 per acre for 20 years and get the land planted at no cost to you under the Afforestation Scheme run by the Dept of Agriculture. This is assuming that you qualify as a farmer (ie active herd number). In addition you own the trees growing on your land, at all times. Its a very attractive passive income. No upfront costs and income from the first year onwards.
If you cant qualify as a farmer you can lease the land for forestry and get 85% of the above figures. This option is very attractive too.
