Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows XP Internet Driver

I had to get our rather old PC (Dell Dimension 8200) rebuilt/reloaded with Windows XP but now when I plugged it back up to the internet I have no connection. The internet connection works on the laptop so I know it's fine. I connect to UPC's broadband through a usb(not wireless) connection from a Motorola modem. I phoned UPC for help but as the internet is working they could only help so much. The technician seemed to think I was missing the internet driver as there were no details in the Network Connections. Any advice most appreciated

Go into device manager (Control Panel>System>Device manager) and see if any items have a yellow exclamation mark or are disabled, if so you are missing drivers. Look on the Dell site for the correct ones, usually Realtek or Broadcom is used for Network ones but it could be different, Dells drivers section should help narrow it down
