Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Laptop Repairs in Cork

    Hi


    Anyone know a repair shop in Cork that could be trusted with replacing a DC socket on the mothrboard of a laptop.

    Have heard some awful stories about a couple of places whereby they hold the laptop for months.

    Really just want to hand it in and have it back within the week.

    Could try PCworld out in Mahon? As much as I dislike them for their pricing at least they are well known company who probably wont dick you around?

    Quoted me 300 eurso. They simply replace the motherboard. What a joke like, every other component on the mobo is fine.

    They gave me the number of a pc repair clinic in Cobh. Rang him, he seemed a bit hesitant and said he wud take a look. Theres a 50/50 chance he can do it. Anyone heard of him. Think he's German. Seemed nice.
