Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I signed up to Sky+ recently and to date only a few small gripes.

One thing I want to ask you Satellite people. Do you find the irish channels losing signal even on a calm night and the rest of the channels being fine?

This has happened twice in May, I thought it was an upgrade or maintenance but just wondering if you guys had come across this.

Never happens. Your dish could be slightly off alignment, or there could be something blocking the signal (like a large tree close to it).

The Irish channels are on Astra 2D and this is the first Satellite to loose signal if your dish goes out of alignment.

This is because Astra 2D has a small footprint.

You need somebody to call out and take a look at your dish.

I would report to sky and ask for them to fix its out of alignment so as others have said or something blocking signal.

If they try to charge you then you could say been like this since its been installed. If you have to pay get someone local to do it should be about €50.

As he's under contract they'll do a call out for free.
