Best of luck with the courses. Hope ye get perfect weather for it.

Any news on an Irish entry to the Volvo Ocean Race? Will the race still end in Galway, if there is no Irish entry?

The start of the Volvo Ocean Race is less than 5 months away. If Ireland is entering a boat, we should at least have a team and they should at this stage be in training testing out a boat.

Ireland's top sailors are being snapped up by other teams. Groupama have snapped up Kerryman Damien Foxhall and GreenDragon's Cork born bowman, Justin Slattery, was snapped up by Abu Dhabi Team Ocean Racing.

I really enjoyed Galway during the last Volvo Ocean Race. Great work by GBSC.
