Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Demand for mowing/turning hay

Hi all, I was thinking about this today and was just wondering whether to advertise for a hay mowing/turning service, with the good weather promised, would there be any demand for such a service. I know most farmers have their own hay-turner but instead of going to the hassle of pulling the hay-bob out of the ditch would they consider hiring someone in to do this service. I have an old square baler in a shed and if needs be i'd get her up and running( round baler would be better but beggars can't be choosers). I was just wondering whether it would be worth even advertising , I'd appreciate your in put. thank you.

ya if its a good summer then you would surely get a bit of baling, think there is only 1 or 2 lads around my place that make the sq bales for hire anymore and they always get a bit of work
