Help! Who fixes tellys?

    My lovely 42PFL9732, bought in the open box sale back in 2009 has suddenly stopped showing any pictures, which is a bit of a handicap. It appears to be just the LCD panel effected. Worked grand right up until the point it didn't.

    So, who can anyone recommend to fix a LCD telly, in Dublin, and who ideally comes around to do so (The telly won't fit in my car)? Fighting the urge to just replace it with one of those fancy 40PFL9705's.

    Just been on to the service repair lads - many thanks Ash for your help - great customer service as usual!

    You'll catch me next time 'round no doubt - the itch for a full 1080p, LED backlit, 3D, dilithium crystal, super telly is bound to return.

    Alastair,

    just from ('ahem') a safety point of view I would not recommend repairing that old LCD...you would be far better off with a shiny new 9705......

    of course that is completely unbiased advice ...
