Failed a Module , now what?

Hey guys.
I'm studying arts and finished my first year exams and got the results. I did fine in everything else except one exam , Spanish for beginners B. I got an F and now I'm on 55 credits. I've no plans to take Spanish to degree level anyways. But I don't fancy resitting the module next year. Is there anyway I can take up a different module to get the lost 5 credits back?

Any input would be appreciated.

As it is not a core module you can substitute it for something else, instead of repeating. It's an expensive option, however. Check the prices in the link below.

Other than that your only option is to repeat I'm afraid.

You can compensate it since you have passed all other modules.

He got an F though, which can't be compensated...

Didn't spot that, presumed it was an E for some reason. I really should read these things a bit better!
