Was just after loading up the In-Play screen and they score a TD.

Watch it just for Kellen Moore. Boise State QB, and I've always called him the Tom Brady of college football because he's just so ruthless and efficient. Even if the defence has 99% of the their secondary in perfect coverage, he'll pick out an open receiver in the uncovered 1%. He's a joy to watch.

Not quite 99% coverage but that TD pass was right where it needed to be.

i take it everybody is on Boise ?

I on minus 20.5 think they will cover handy.

I've never seen a team use the screen pass so much, they ran it all day against Ohio State last week too. Surely Boise saw that on the game tape.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,739 ✭✭✭johnmcdnl

are Boise -18.5 at this point at 5/6 worth a shot... internet is being crappy as usual so can't watch the game myself...

goddammit as I type they score a TD

    are they worth -23.5

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,857 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Have that Doug Martin lad on my fantasy team :D
    On the bench

that new boise placekicker looks awful. hardly made the first pat and missed badly on that one. seriously how the hell do you hook a pat like that.

Peterson will adjust for that no doubt. Lead them into a false sense of security and then bam. Shut them down and leave them clueless and tired. Boise should put up over 40 tonight. Love that they never ease up when the game's in the bag.

Worth a punt alright, desperate field position here for Toledo, and Boise being Boise of course always have to run up as big a score as they can to appease the almighty BCS.

I'd love to try a PAT in a game situation.

Boise missing a shocking amount of tackles at the moment.

Boise -4 and Total Pts over 14 in the first quarter in the bag

Taking candy from a baby :)

I love the way your man kicks the ball. I've wondered in the past why more kickers don't actually aim for the corner a la rugby

very unimpressed by Boise so far. Not what you normally get from them at all.

WTF calling an option run with Kellen Moore lol the OC must be off his tree

Boise -11 @ the half was looking decidely dodgy there for a moment!

    Go Shoe-Maker

Ha, at first I thought he released the ball too soon and the receiver just made a great play. Silly me, the replay showed it was just perfectly delicate pass. Kids unreal.

This Boise offense really need to start finishing their drives in the second half. What are they? 2 from 6 on 3rd down? Tighten up on D and tackle a bit more also. Still have faith in them covering the -20 spread.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Anyone else think Oklahoma will absolutely crush Florida State? Spread is only -3, I can't see Florida State finishing within two touchdowns tbh. Oklahoma have far, far, far, far too much on offense for them.

I think Florida will hang with them for the first half. But Oklahoma will tire them out and should have too much on offense and pull through in the second. kinda like the LSU game last night. Can see them winning by 10+ points.

Boise are bloody awful tonight. Some pathetic play calling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Tell me bout it. They should have an extra 21 up on the board at this stage. Toledo have been handling the run pretty well. Kellen is 15 from 17 and got up the field so easily when throwing it. But they've decided to run it or go wit tricky plays on 3rd. At least Moore is coming back in.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

If they learned to wrap up a tackle, Toledo would still be scoreless. I've never seen them defend so bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,900 ✭✭✭Eire-Dearg

    What a lucky, lucky play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Thank fook for that interception. Yeah loads of holes at the back and tackling like a bunch of sissies.

Thank God for Kellen Moore. That 3rd down where they ran the direct snap to Martin didn't even look like a 1st down, generous spot. Don't know why they're pulling all this crap tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Shift of momentum hopefully after that turnover. So easy when Boise keep it simple. This Toledo team will just keep giving up penalty yards too.

Definitely not a first down, going by the graphics on the field anyway.

Who did ye's think should draft Moore?

QB depth in next year's draft lucks very tasty.

Would expect a team with an established QB to take him in one of the later rounds. Would actually love to see the Saints take him and sit behind Drew Brees for a few years for obvious reasons. Big ask though for him to become a starter in the NFL at some stage in his career.

Another turnover in the red zone. Toledo doing their best to keep the -20 alive.

If those missed PATs cost us, I will be absolutely raging. Mathematically it's hard to see how they could realistically, but I wouldn't put it past this night for it to happen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Suppose if they went for a 2 point conversion on a td just to get an extra play in and they miss and only get 6. It could cost us if my math is right. Or a push maybe. Need a 3 and out here. At most a fg.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

They'll score without question. Im not even expecting them not to. Boise have stopped giving a ****.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Ha, look at that. If Boise had magically gotten 2 extra points, this would be a push. If only there was some scenario where they could have had two extra points. Hmmmm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Well the 2 missed PAT'S would have brought it to push. Just hope Boise score on this possession. Don't have too much faith though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Moore out of the game, that's me off to bed. Moore aside, Boise were awful tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

Ha I don't believe it. They better not go up and score a td now.
