Haha same, getting business re-checked, was marked ridiculously. I reckon it'll go up at least one grade. Bit too late then though. :pac:

My weekend includes getting ready for school on Monday and lazin' about.

You'll probably get marked up in Biology so if you were that close. I was going to get English rechecked but after looking over it I'm not going to bother.
It really is about getting lucky with the marker sometimes, especially with English because it's so subjective. You probably have a good chance of going up in that.

Starting back Monday myself, there's a good few people repeating and they're all pretty sound, except one guy I really don't like might be repeating. Hopefully he won't though. :P

I plan on doing a bit of study while I'm not swamped with work and watching the new Doctor Who episode. I might also try baking some granola-type bars for school.

This weekend absolutely nothing, will laze about and watch the prem tomorrow and Sunday,
Next weekend is the problem, there's two parties on and I've no idea how I'm gonna convince my Mam to let me go both, having to choose one isn't an option because knowing me, the party I don't go will turn into Project X or something but I may have to settle for it haha, any ideas folks?

This and work. Oh Leaving Cert...trying to squeeze in a few hours of socialising on Sunday but it's gonna be tough! Oh well, I have friends at work, does that count as a social event? :pac:

Well, I have loads of homework still, even though I did a lot of it last night. But I'm aiming for 3 hours study today and tomorrow as well as homework. :)

Hoping to get 2 or 3 hours done today and tomorrow.

Ye're actually planning on studing already!? I was only goin to do homework and then relax for the rest of the weekend! Some of the teachers told their classes to take it easy this weekend because its the last weekend they'll have the chance to seeing as the 2 days we were in this week were only an "introduction"

So how many points is everyone looking for and what courses do ye want to do.
I'm looking to get about 450 and want to do either computer science and software engineering, culinary arts or engineering.

The course I want to do would probably be around 450 but I'd love to get a scholarship of some sort, so as much as possible.

I want to do Computer Games Development or Business and Languages, about 450 should get them both I reckon.

I have a few options rolling around in my mind. I want to study music of some sorts... Maybe in the RIAM which was only 195 points but there is a pretty tough audition and exam in order to get in which really makes it as hard as getting 500+ points. Another course is the TCD music course which is 410 but if I decided to do it through TSM, I.e. with another subject, either Irish, French or Maths then I'm looking at 540-585 points. Those are the three courses I'm thinking of at the moment. :) Essentially if I put the RIAM as my first choice, I still have to aim high in case I don't get through the audition process, therefore having to choose TCD. :)

Also aiming for CS or engineering, looking for high 400's.

My day has been very productive so far, I watched some rugby, then F1 quali and I just made an apple pie. It's nearly 3 and I haven't started on HW yet. :P

I'd absolutely love to do Computer Science or something like that. Is it vital to do Higher Maths for computing ? 'cause I don't think I'll be doing that

    I don't think it's a requirement.

Not required but recommended. CS needs the same sort of logical thinking as maths, and when I learned some basic CS at MPT some of our assignments involved coding programs to solve simple maths problems.
