    It was gone for me last night to and it came back this morning, but went again about 5 minutes ago.

    Gone all day for me in FF, just switched the rendering engine to IE using IE tab and it's working.

    could an admin kindly advise the users as to what is going on because the site is a pain in the arse without the drop down menu.

    they are trying they just have to use the backup... it may take some time

    OT and FWIW ... now fine on Chrome, has been all evening; missing on Firefox; default skin and old-style menu.

    Edit: Actually, just re-started firefox, back now on both.

    look at the bottom left hand corner of the forum (wayyyyyyy down as far as you can go) you'll see the dropdown with all the different options :)

    There are some problems with the menu at the minute, it's a different problem to the one yesterday, and this one appears to only be affecting Firefox - cut them a bit of slack? Also, Site Development is usually where bugs go :)

    absolutely i am all about the slack but a banner identifying the problem would be no harm and less infuriating than reading countless contradictory posts saying it's fixed, it's not, ok on this browser, etc. etc.
