Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

was with them for a few years ,had an injury and claimed when was out of work and they paid up no problem ,got paid for two months think it was around 900euro a month ,nothing wrong with that , got a letter today that some old agents could have kept some customer info so be careful with bank details etc

relative of mine had an accident some years ago , was insured with combined insurance , they were pitifull in terms of cover despite what was promised

aviva are well priced , cant speak for them in terms of reliability though , hard to beat FBD

Woefull , wouldnt go near them !

Hard to get them to settle claims, policies dont offer the same level of cover as others, never heard so many people complaining about any one company !

one of there reps was in our yard last year and i was asking him a heap of questions about the cover- he ended up offering me a job- didnt like the set up as you have to pay them some cash up front-also different reps charge differ rates for the same cover as its a bit like pyramid selling- for every sale i would make the fella that takes me on gets 18euro comission:eek:

First day back milking yesterday and a cow broke a rib of mine after sticking me onto a feed trough while backing ou of the parlour.

Anyways, i rang combined as i am insured for a good few years with them and never had to claim. I was talking to the guy on the phone before i went to the doctor as i had school runs to do and thought it may be better to get on with the paperwork and get it rolling. I answered all the questions but he wouldnt send the claim form because i hadnt seen the doctor and couldnt until they had an estimation of how long i would be out. Fair enough but a few bells starting to ring now.

Went to doc and he comfirmed a broken rib and rest for 2 weeks and NO lifting. So i rang back with my info and answered all the same questions again (did they not have any record of my conversation of 3 hours earlier???) and was told the form would be out next week!!

No mention of going to a doctor or how long i would be off this time:rolleyes:.

I am starting to smell a large dead rat but may be wrong. I will keep you posted but i am going to switch as soon as my claim is processed i think

Checked my bank account and 2 grand in there from my broken rib from combined insurance:D

    Nice:D:D

Holidays in Galway paid for next month paid for:cool:

Verdict.....some good some bad. The guys i was talking to about claiming on th 17th of june sum up my feelings on this company. Good guys are very good but the bad guys.............just chronic.

I think i am going to get quotes now to change. Just too many dodgy stories and that dodgy guy i was talking to about my claim leave me wondering:(
