    Don't worry about the SEEM tool. You don't need it. just tension the belt enough that you can turn twist it a quarter of a turn.

    I could possibly be knocked for this but if your not 100% about doing the belt yourself then just inspect it for deterioration.
    There is probably more chance of you f..king up a belt fitting than the original belt giving up in the first place
