Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yip some crops under pressure alright both under plastic and in the open. I have both and the open maize sown early (15th april-surprise) will/is grand starting to grow again now with the badly needed sunshine, the crops sown a week later (22 April 39v43/Justina) are under pressure but seem to be making a start growing again. Stuff planted a couple of weeks ago poking through now (39v60) and will probably be as good as the early sown stuff. I have to get spraying this evening as I have a fabulous crop of weeds. Will be applying bittersalz and a bio-stimulant (never seen them to work before) but will try again. all open maize was drilled with 2.5 bags of 0-10-20 per acre thankfully as im on very infertile soils

Was on the bbc news yesterday that UK farmers were worried about the maize crops due to the drought. Driest spring in 100 years. Anyone renting or selling irrigation booms is going to have a good summer.
