Twas lovely in Wellington today. So, I closed the curtains and pretended it was horrible outside. I don't want to go anywhere this weekend, I'm dying for the weather to be ****.

As mentioned above, Bank Holidays mean nothing to me. Just an inconvenience. But, hey, it's sunny.

I ususally enjoy Bank Holidays, but given that I have to spend the whole weekend working on my thesis, this one, I'm afraid will pass me by.

Although on the plus side it means I do have a day extra to work on things

I didn't attack you at all and bear no malice towards you in the slightest. I deduced an answer to my own question and put it to you. Somewhat in the hope you might think....hey, great...I've some free time. Why don't I round up all the people I like and have a BBQ/go camping/fishing/walk a mountain/smoke crack...whatever.

There's more to life than the inside/back garden of a house and not every activity costs money.

I'm not a big fan of the bank holiday either, especially going out on the Sunday night, theres always people who havent been out since the last BH where they were blind drunk getting sick all over the shop

As I'm not burdened by a job, I don't get very excited by bank holidays.

Actually I think they should be banned. No wonder the country's in the state it is with everyone having a day off enjoying themselves.
