So I'm currently writing an essay on McCarthyism and the anti-war movement and how they affected US foreign policy.

There are some points I plan to discuss in each paragraph but I don't know if they are the right ones.

Is this plan ok or should I re-evaluate?

    1. Background, what was the Cold War and how did it start?
    2. Policy of containment, stopping Stalin from spreading Communism throughout Europe
    3. Berlin Blockade, the Allies control parts of Germany
    4. 1949, prime year for Cold War tensions
    5. Proxy wars between superpowers, background to Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan
    6. China becomes Communist and forms People's Republic of China
    7. Joseph McCarthy claims 57 US government workers are communist, starts witch-hunt
    8. McCarthyism and fear of some wishing to challenge McCarthy
    9. McCarthy's death in 1957 and America's damaged reputation over witch-hunt
    10. Implications of mass media and Vietnam era damages America

That is not counting the introduction and the conclusion.

    Thanks:D
