Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New GT5 Championship 2011

05-06-2011 11:23am#1Hi I'm planning on starting another championship in GT5. I have put up a poll to see what day would suit.
(Subject to change / discussion)
The Championship will have 7 Rounds. Each round will entail x2 5 lap Sprint Races. One car will be picked for each round from the online cars.
Round 1
Cape Ring North
Round 2
Grand Valley East
Round 3
Laguna Seca
Round 4
Tsukuba
Round 5
Nürburgring GP/D
Round 6
Daytona
Round 7
Autumn Ring
Rules:
1. The race track is the road between two white lines and includes the kerbs. Two wheels must remain within the white lines at all times.
I understand that accidents can happen but in qualifying be honest and invalidate your lap (by quiting free run and re-entering) if you feel you've cheated.
2. Respect your fellow racers. The racer in front of you has the right of way. You cannot ram him off the road or use him as a barrier to take a corner. I realise that it is part of racing and cars will touch and there will be crashes. IF you do ram someone off the road the very least you can do is apologise after the race.
I organised a championship here previously, take a look to see if you'd be interested in this type of racing
If you are interested post your PSN name and will add it. I think we should probably have a practice race before the championship starts just so pple can have a better idea of how it will work.
