Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey guys just started a new job with my cousin in nz and the tractor is a Fiat 82-93dt. Just looking to know if anyone has ever cone across one of these?? Is so what known problems are there??
Few questions, where is the dipstick for the backend oil?? Searched high and low to no avail.
Is there a hi lo splitter on these? These is what seems to be a handbreak at either side, what is the one on the left for?? It's a cabless tractor so alot of the control details have gone and I've never driven a fiat!

    Thanks for your help

    Hi CONOR

    Firstly I'm no expert.

But the handle with white button on most fiats (that looks like a second handbrake) is the hand clutch for the pto. Pull it up and then it'I allow you to throw the pto lever (small lever under seat to the rear)into gear. Just make sure to let down the hand clutch again after it's engaged ! DO the same to turn off pto.

The access dipstick for the rear end you'I have to open a nut on top of the block near where the toplink attachs to the tractor. The dipstick is stuck to the bottom of this nut.

Not sure about the high low splitter. I doubt it has one, but I could be wrong

Hope I was of some help

The hand clutch makes sense, should there be much bite to this?? There doesn't seem to be but I'll go see tomorrow.

I assume the floor button behind right heal is diff lock? If so how do you disengage it? Does it pop up when you clutch or what? Does the back end oil go in the same place as where the dip stick is?

The lift arms don't seem to be working to well either... It's going to get a full service in the next week or so anyway. Are the clutch's on these prone to wear if used for loader work like other fiats? Is so are they expensive to replace?

Anything else I should be aware of?? Thanks for your help muckit.

RE hand clutch.... it doesn't have a ratchet the same as a handbrake so you won't get a 'click click click' when you lift it. But it should hold in upright position when pulled up fully. Press button to let it off.

Yes top up the oil into same hole as dipstick. You'l prob need a flexible tube with the funnel to get around the diesel tank.

All loader tractors wear clutchs quicker. All down to shifting back and forth alot.

Diff lock has a small round knurled pedal. Never had to use so don't know much about using. Assume you just keep pressed when needed and take foot off it to disengage

to disengage just press the breaks. they are very similar to the 90-90. yes white is the hand clutch pull up before staring and stopping pto. there handy enough were spreading slurry and stuff like that
