Email set up on Blackberry torch??

I have bought a new blackberry torch and put my old sim card(vodafone)into it which was in my previous blackberry curve.I cant get the email to set up at all..i had it loading and then a text came through and the upload was cancelled.since then i cant even click on it..any suggestions??
