Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,
I have a Dell XPS 420 since Feb 2008, and im having problems with it now.
When i turn on the machine the fans goes at full blast, and there is no picture on the monitor.
Im having the same problem as here:
    http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19301601.aspx
One poster there recommends that its the PSU as its too weak.
So im considering buying a new one, what power one should i buy?
I would like it to be a cheap as possible really.:D
Also are all PSU units the same?
eg. will anyone o buy have the correct cables and such for my xps420.?
    Thanks

If I remember correctly, some of these models had a fault where the CPU Temperature Sensor was faulty and hence the problems you are having, have a look at the Dell forums to see if you can get more info there
