Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2000 licences only I use a combination of opendns and bluecoat and find it very good, for the smallies kidzui is great.

I find that just putting my kids in a net works fine as a nanny.

Yeah that's interesting I didn't know OpenDNS had moved into this area. Looks like a more effective solution, without the software bloat.

Its filtered by ip address so if you have a dynamic ip you'll either want a router that supports opendns or at least one that supports dyndns etc. I found that even with dynamic dns there was a lag between the ip address being updated at dyndns.org and opendns leading to periods of unfiltered access.

There are clients to update the ip that you can install on your computer but I found these unreliable, maybe as I have too many computers they may have been trying to update simultaneously or maybe you're only allowed a certain number of updates per day. Probably fine if you are only filtering one computer.
