Anyone know where the best quality courses go on in Dublin? Preferably advanced.

Any links to good websites / info etc appreciated. Betting related or may be interested in the stock markets as well. Anyone into stock market trading on here?

    Cheers in advance

    Nic

Is the IFSC trading room still up and running? Can't access their website.

It would be a pity if they have gone. I never went as I was always a lone soldier but now I'm going mad from isolation. I'd say it's a great environment trading with like minded people rather than on your lonesome, especially now as the footy is over, might get some tips on the horses. You could easily cover the fee from a day's trading.

Any other similar places round town? Did you ever go yourself?

Na never made it up I was planning on going during the summer. Sounded like a good idea.

It's still running, taken over by VC.

Anybody use any quality trading websites?

I used to just do the bog standard Financials on paddy power. (sorry that has probably nowt to do with your question). The standard 5/6 odds either way on the market closing above or below the current level .

My bag was the Japaneese Stockmarket. €500 bets. I don't know why, i knew nothing about it. I just noticed that it mostly imitated the Dow jones from the previous day.
(it closed at 7.30am every morning) . I was lucky, never lost.

But i took a €100 stab on the miday ftse level about 2years ago to be above a certain level and when it went over by 1.5 points i wondered why no payment.

I rang pp and they said they used levels by a certain company and that calculated the 1st reading AFTER the official level, and not the official one, so i lost!

I never did financials or used them for acc betting since that day. Thought it was a disgrace they didn't actually use the official level.

I don't know anything to do with the stock markets etc to be honest. I just stick to what I know. I'm researching new techniques on dutching and trading the correct score markets. Playing around with the strategy over the summer, ready for the new season.

Anyone interested in finding out more about trading themselves, I can recommend googling Pete Nordsted. I'm always on the lookout for more top traders but finding it hard to stumble across any top websites. There's a lot of false dross out there.

Paul Krishamurty is another professional trader specialising in golf that's worth following.

    Anyone else people know of?

    Cheers

I'm a full-time trader who also does some mentoring but a bit unsure of the rules about how much info I can post without breaking advertising rules....

Give us yer Twitter if you have one, or email if you don't mind.

I'm very interesting in learning more about trading, and working on my strategies.

Would love to experience a trading room environment as like mentioned above :)

Yeah, texted Graham (the guy who used to run the IFSC trading room). Said it's still going but i'm not sure how involved he still is.

The new link is: http://ifscsportstrading.drupalgardens.com but is under maintenance.

Ash, as soon as you get that site sorted out, it would be fine to post a link here.

Maybe I'll set up my own trading rooms to sort out my isolation problems ;)
