Property Prices-People deluded.

I was talking to a neighbour who believes that his house has not gone down in value in the last year,i told him otherwise. He's not an idiot but seems deluded in relation to the valuation of his property. A couple of other people are saying the same. Do these people not read newspapers, the news or are they simply deluded?…

Kippy: I agree that negative equity will stop people being able to move mortgages and will further add to their problems, That was one of the good points that Tommy made earlier.

Also, I agree that the Irish propety dip will be deeper and longer than the London/uk one in the 1990s. So I am not comparing like with like. Just pointing out that in the longer-term some people ended up doing very well out of it.
