Hi all, anybody know how long a dog has to be kept in the pound before it can be rehomed? Joe

Legally a stray has to do 5 days, but if a dog is surrendered in, then it can be rehomed immediately.

A lot of pounds won't rehome restricted breeds or pups direct to the public, they go to a rescue group first.
