This is probably not the correct forum, but I'm posting here because this message is for Liah and I know she posts in this Forum (if anyone else can help, it's also appreciated)

Basically I'm passing on a question for a British guy living in Germany who is looking for a flat/flat share in Flensburg, his question is:
    Hi All,

I start work in Flensburg in July and I am desperatly trying to find somewhere to live!!

I am a 41 year old divorced Father of 2 (The kids live with their Mum).

If anyone has info on available flats or flat shares then please let me know. All I ask is that the area is fairly quiet and reasonably priced (around 350-400 euro Warm would be great).

    Thanks
So if Liah or anyone else can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated

    Thanks

You do know about private messaging, right?

Yes, but it doesn't help much when the recipient has private messaging disabled now does it? ;)

    Heya!

I assume your friend is familiar with the local listing such as http://www.moinmoin.de/ or http://www.shz.de/nachrichten/lokales/flensburger-tageblatt.html ?

Check the 'Kleinanzeigen' bit, usually you'll find some house-sharing ads there. Other local papers such as 'Partout' should also help.

For that kind of money, you may also get a flat on your own, try the 'Selbsthilfebauverein (SBV)' http://www.sbv-flensburg.de/cms/index.php or any of the other renting organisations.

Good luck (I think Flensburg is a lovely town, but I am biased ;-))
