Obviously plenty of money in the country if she can make that much begging - put her in charge of the Dept of Finance, I say.

It would be great to see her outside the council of ministers in brussels...

    "Meester Sarkozy.......you buy rose??"

I have no time for the gyppos, nothing but trouble, highly agressive until you put it back up to them. Similar to our own Caravan Using Nomadic Travellers - I have never seen nor heard anything remotely indicative of honesty from either group. Not generalising, I'm sure someone, somewhere in these communities must have once done something decent, however I am yet to be made aware of it.

    in 2 months she made 72000  that's 432000 in a year... i don't care - i call bull****

like i don't know a single person who'd give them money... when I was growing up any time I was going up to dublin I was always told to stay away from them and never to give them money... how could they possibly make over 400,000 a year... that's over a grand a day... like seriously... i know it may include all her children but still... that's a hell of a lot of money especially seeing as everyone grows up being told not to give them money...

Funny that, I've NEVER seen an Irish traveller begging. Scamming the system, sure, but never begging.
I have, an old woman used to call around to us, it was a long time ago and she was sleeping rough locally and it was for food rather than money.

Just on that specific point, deported for what? What crime has she committed?

    Been a fookin parasite! .......

There are certain laws against 'aggressive begging', 'obtaining money/food by deception' and lets be honest in this case, organised crime! anyone going about town these days can testify as to the amount of begging thats going on,it's a growth industry in todays climate,it's everywhere, at cash machines, outside shops, at busstops, luas stops, outside banks (inside in some cases too ;)) outside restuarants, eateries etc.

When they're not begging they're selling the "Biggie Shoe" (those providing them with copies to sell should be ashamed of themselves)

These supposed penniless parasites traipse all across Europe to get here and cream a system that (lets face it) is there to be creamed whilst earning a fortune working as part of an organised begging cartel, and liberal minded PC tossers try to make those of us with genuine concerns feel like we're the problem!

I'm not saying don't be charitable but ffs be mindful of where your 'donation' is actually going, too many people think they can indulge with a clear conscience just because they tossed a few coins into the first outstretched polystyrene cup that got shook in their direction!

    somewhere like here probably....

...and before anyone says they don't exist, I have seen them for myself.

No time for them myself, have personal experience of them thieving from the elderly in their own home.
Not a nice thing to witness on a wednesday afternoon I can tell you.

If the truth be known, I wouldn't spit in a Romas face if his/her gold teeth were on fire.

If we were to deport the Roma back home, should the UK deport our own knackers back to Ireland?

If they can be shown to have originated here and satisfy the EU conditions for deportation then the UK can go right ahead.

Quite possibly because you live in a fookin safety bubble called 'your world' that you apparently never step out of! There are many decent people in the Travelling Communities throughout Ireland, they, like 'settled folk' have their bad eggs that bring the spotlight of negativity on their community....truth be known there's more to fear from the bad ones in 'settled' communities.

    By the way ...

Are you aware of these guys?

Or this young chap? ..... I'll give you a hint, He represented Ireland in the Olympics

    Or this young lad?

Yep, all from the Irish Travelling Community............ So,what have you achieved in your pompous existance thus far?

Was in supermarket few months ago.Garda in front of me at checkout had €70 worth of Rennie indigestion tablets. Was ready to crack a joke when the shop assistant told me what had happened. Some Roma gypsies had been caught stealing the Rennie, and the garda wanted to use the tabs as evidence in court that afternoon.

    Seriously, Rennie.....

Why is this woman not deported and how can anyone not defend the charge that Roma gypsy's for the most part are only involved in organised begging? They are a blight as far as I'm concerned and this is proof that a huge amount of beggars are doing quite well thank you very much.

i'd be interested to know if the taxpayer is covering her legal costs....

it's a long shot, but what would a handful of Rennies look like if they were ground down ?? ;)

did wonder that at the time but was thinking more along the lines of-if you're gonna shoplift and hide it under 40 dresses, maybe go for something tastier than rennie( alcohol?)

I have learned something very useful from all these pages of the thread. The Fureys have a travelling backround. I did not know that and I do now, although I am slightly worried that this info may not justify the time I wasted reading through all these page...:D
