more bins on the main street!

    well done to the council or corporation or whoever is responsible for putting more bins on the main street ... there is way more now scattered all along the route up and down the main street...new additions by the shops accross from simons place... outside near robertinos, just past marlows and along...

    As long as they keep them emptied now ;)! Particularly on Sunday mornings and Monday morning of a bank holiday.

    Waste of money more bins will not solve the problem people will still drop rubbish regardless of howmany bins there are.

    That's a definite part of the problem alright. Perhaps if the wardens were where they should be and dish out the litter fines this would soon stop, €125/€150 fine (whatever it is) is not to be coughed at. It would make me think twice anyway and also bring in much needed revenue for the local authority, its a win win (except of course for the litter bug but sure don't litter, don't get fined !)

    I've also noticed loads of wall-mounted cigarette repositories appearing about the place. One's appeared near the bottom of my street, another in the lane to the right of the Sky & The Ground, yet another.... dammit, they're all over the place.
